About
I study and teach Biblical Hebrew. I teach people how to teach Physics (I used to teach Physics). I play the violin and have been a string instructor to children and adults. I have a blog. What is the connection? I take subject material that many people find difficult or intimidating and try to find ways to make that information or skill accessible. I enjoy making people successful at things they don’t think they can do. If you are interested in reading more about me, Daniel & Tonya (of the Greek & Hebrew Reader blog) did an interview of me that has more info.
This blog will be a resource archive for some of my teaching material (particularly for Biblical Hebrew). The posts will take a “boulder” and attempt to remove its stumbling potential by “breaking it down” into smaller pieces so that it is more understandable. I will also try to connect the dots between some pretty heady stuff and thereby encourage you to see that what you know can (and should) affect what you do. You will find regular posts on ancient languages, the Hebrew Bible, and biblical theology. But don’t be surprised if you see posts about origami, challah, or bike gears. I hope you will stop by often and that you enjoy reading my 2 bits worth.
